Things Are Finally Falling Into Place
It feels so good to finally be able to say this… life is finally getting back on track.
After months of planning, delays, and trying to get everything organised, my special edition is finally coming together exactly as I imagined. One of the biggest highlights has been working with the incredibly talented Nina, whose artwork has brought this project to life in a way I could only dream of. Seeing the illustrations become part of this edition has been an amazing experience, and I honestly can’t wait to share them with all of you.
And that’s not all! Nina and I will also be working together on something I’ve wanted to do for a long time: character cards. By the time Beyond Heaven and Hell reaches the end of Book 4, there will be a complete collection of 30 character cards. I think they’ll be a fantastic addition for readers who love the world and its characters as much as I do, and I’m already excited to see the collection grow with each release.
Writing has also been going really well. I’m now on Chapter 13 of Before the Clock Stops, and every chapter makes me more excited about this story. It is completely different from Beyond Heaven and Hell, different style, and a very different journey. It’s a book that has challenged me as a writer, but in the best possible way. I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks once it’s released and discovering which story readers connect with the most.
Last weekend was another fantastic milestone. Sales were great, but what made it truly special was meeting so many incredible authors and wonderful readers. Events like these remind me why I started this journey in the first place. To top it all off, I was interviewed twice, which was both exciting and a little surreal! Every opportunity to talk about my books and my writing journey means a lot to me.
Now my focus turns to the next event, and I honestly can’t wait. I’ll be in Newcastle on 22nd August, and I’m really looking forward to meeting even more readers, catching up with fellow authors, and sharing everything I’ve been working on.
There are still plenty of things to do, but for the first time in a while, it feels like everything is moving in the right direction. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me, whether you’ve bought a book, shared a post, come to an event, or simply sent a kind message. It truly means more than you know.
Here’s to the next chapter—both in my books and in this incredible journey.
