The Cover Is Finally Revealed!

I have been waiting for this moment for a while, and I am so happy that I can finally say it: the cover of Beyond Heaven and Hell: Exodus has been revealed!

There is always something special about revealing a new book cover. You spend so much time working on a story, keeping things secret, and slowly preparing everything behind the scenes. Then suddenly, the moment arrives when you can finally share another piece of that world with everyone.

This reveal was even more exciting because I decided to prepare a trailer for it. I had so much fun putting everything together, choosing how I wanted the cover to appear and creating versions in both English and Portuguese. It was a little more work doing everything twice, but being able to share the reveal in both languages made it completely worth it.

Seeing the finished trailer and finally showing the cover of Exodus made me incredibly happy. It makes the book feel even more real, and now I am even more excited for the day when I can finally share the whole story with you.

But books haven't only been about writing for me lately. I also finished reading my friend's book, Nocturnal, and I absolutely loved it!

It was really nice to spend some time on the other side of books for a change—not thinking about my own characters, editing, covers, special editions, or everything else that comes with being an author, but simply enjoying someone else's story. And when that story has been written by a friend, it makes the experience even more special.

Now my attention is turning to something else that is getting very close: Newcastle!

I am very excited for the event in Newcastle next Saturday, 22nd August. This one is going to be a little different for me because, this time, I am going by myself.

I know that might not sound like a huge thing to everyone, but for me, it is going to be a big challenge. Travelling there, setting everything up, managing my table, meeting readers, and dealing with everything else on my own is definitely going to push me outside my comfort zone.

There is some nervousness there, of course, but there is also a lot of excitement.

Every event teaches me something new, and I think Newcastle is going to be another important experience for me. Sometimes we need to challenge ourselves and discover that we can do more than we thought we could.

So, right now, there are a lot of emotions happening at once. I am incredibly happy that the cover of Beyond Heaven and Hell: Exodus cover is finally out in the world, proud of the reveal trailers I created, happy after finishing Nocturnal, and excited—and a little nervous—about Newcastle.

Next stop: Newcastle, all by myself.

Wish me luck! ❤️
