New Art, New Special Editions, and More Writing

It feels like there is always something happening behind the scenes with my books, and lately, I have had some really exciting things to work on.

After all the problems I had with my special editions, I finally feel like things are moving in the right direction. Nina sent me the new artwork she created for the endpapers, and I was so happy when I saw them. Seeing new art inspired by my story is always such a special feeling. There is something incredible about watching something that has lived inside my head slowly become something I can actually see and hold.

And this time, it felt even better because I was finally able to order my new special editions!

Pressing that order button made me ridiculously happy. After everything I went through trying to fix the previous editions, knowing that the new ones are now being made with the new endpapers feels like a fresh start. I honestly cannot wait to see the finished books and finally hold one in my hands. I am really hoping they turn out exactly as I have imagined them.

But Nina's work with my books isn't stopping with the endpapers.

She is also working on the artwork for my character cards, another little project I have been developing for the first book. I have wanted to do something like this for a while, and I am really excited to see the characters coming to life in a completely different way. I think the cards will be a lovely addition to the book and something special for readers who enjoy collecting things connected to the characters and their stories.

While all of this is happening, I am, of course, still writing.

My third book, Before the Clock Stops, is continuing to grow. This book has been such a different experience for me because I am stepping into a new genre with this standalone story. It is exciting, but I would be lying if I said it wasn't also a little scary.

Trying something different always comes with that question in the back of my mind: Will people like it?

I really hope they do.

Before the Clock Stops is allowing me to explore a different side of my writing. Stuart's story is darker, filled with mystery, secrets, murder, and questions that slowly become more complicated as he gets closer to the truth. Writing it has challenged me in ways my other books haven't, and I think that is one of the reasons I am enjoying creating it so much.

There is still plenty of writing ahead of me, and Stuart still has a lot to go through before I can finally type THE END.

For now, I am going to keep writing, keep working on all these little extras for my books, and impatiently wait for those new special editions to arrive.

I really can't wait to show you what Nina and I have been working on.

Hopefully, you will love it as much as I do.
