A Week of Friendship, Books, and Looking Ahead

The week of 1st of June was one of those weeks that reminds me why I love being part of the writing community.

I had the chance to spend time with two wonderful author friends, Aoife and Helen, and it was great to catch up, share ideas, and talk about everything from books to future projects. It also happened to be Aoife's birthday, so a huge happy birthday to her! I hope she had a fantastic celebration and an even better year ahead.

I've also been reading Aoife's novel Stay Silent. Before I started, she gave me fair warning that there were some very spicy scenes in it. I thought I was prepared... but I was definitely shocked! Let's just say she wasn't exaggerating. It's always fun stepping outside my usual comfort zone and experiencing stories that surprise me in unexpected ways.

On the creative side, my mind has been busy brainstorming new ideas for upcoming in-person events. I love meeting readers face-to-face, and I'm always looking for ways to make those experiences more memorable and engaging. If you've attended one of my events before, you know I enjoy chatting about books, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, and hearing your own reading experiences.

I'm also feeling incredibly grateful for this writing journey. Every week brings new opportunities, new friendships, and new challenges, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Finally, a quick update on Exodus. The alpha readers have the manuscript, and I'm eagerly waiting to hear their thoughts. I truly hope they're enjoying the adventure and that the story resonates with them. Their feedback will be invaluable as I make the final adjustments.

Everything is still on track, and I'm aiming to release Exodus on 5 February 2027. There's still plenty to do before then, but the excitement is building, and I can't wait to share this next chapter with all of you.

Thank you, as always, for following along on this journey. Your support means the world to me, and I look forward to sharing more updates very soon.
