I wanted to check in and let you know that I'll be away from my social media for one more week. I'm still deep into working on my special edition, and I want to give it the attention it deserves before I return. I know I've been quieter than usual, and I truly appreciate everyone who has stayed patient with me.
I've been incredibly disappointed with TikTok lately. I'm still dealing with ongoing issues regarding my payments, and my posts continue to have problems as well. It's been frustrating to put so much time and energy into creating content only to face obstacle after obstacle. At the moment, it has taken away much of the excitement I used to feel when sharing there.
Despite that, I've managed to channel my energy into something that reminds me why I love creating in the first place.
This week has been all about building the world of Exodus. I've been working on the map of Lumière, carefully shaping the geography and history behind every region, while also creating the hierarchy artwork that will appear in book 2. Seeing these pieces come together has been incredibly rewarding, and I can't wait to share them with you when everything is ready.
I've realized that my mind always needs to be creating. Building worlds, drawing maps, designing symbols, and writing stories have become more than just creative projects. They're an escape from everything else life throws my way. When I'm immersed in creating, the noise quiets down for a while, and that's something I'm deeply grateful for.
Thank you for staying with me during this quieter season. I promise I'm not gone, I'm simply creating. And when I come back, I hope it'll be with something truly special that was worth the wait.
