2 Events and Liverpool
Last week, I had the chance to attend The Book Bonanaza event with my amazing friends Becs and Aoife, and despite how incredibly busy the week was, it was absolutely worth every moment. The atmosphere was full of passionate readers, talented authors, and so many unforgettable conversations about books and storytelling.
One of the highlights for me was discovering new stories and meeting amazing authors and of course, I couldn’t leave empty-handed! I came home with 7 new books that I’m genuinely excited to dive into. There’s something special about meeting the people behind the stories and hearing the passion that inspired their worlds.
Events like this always remind me why I love being part of the book community so much.
The trip to Liverpool itself was such a fun experience. Spending time with friends, meeting readers and authors, and exploring the city made the whole journey unforgettable. In the Literary Escape Festival may not have sold many books during the event, but honestly, that wasn’t what made it special. I met so many amazing people, including another Brazilian author, which made me feel even more connected to this incredible community.
We also had the chance to enjoy the city, walk around, and even spend some time at the beach, moments that made the trip even more memorable outside of the event itself.
Now that everything has settled down, I’m feeling inspired and motivated again. It’s time to focus on finishing the first draft of Exodus, while my alphas are already reading this draft.
Thank you to everyone who supported me, stopped by to talk, or shared a moment during this journey. More stories are coming soon.
